Over 500,000 disabled people currently use the Motability Scheme and a further 1.3 million are eligible to join but haven’t taken advantage of doing so, simply because they may be unaware that they can.
The Scheme is open to anyone who receives either the Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance or the War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement. Customers simply exchange their allowance for a worry-free mobility package, including:
- A new car every 3 years.
- Servicing, maintenance and repairs.
- Mileage Allowance of 60,000 miles over the 3 year agreement
- Insurance cover
- Road Tax
- Tyres, window screen repair and replacement
- Breakdown Cover
- Many Ford vehicles are available with nil advance payment
- Adaptions and wheelchair friendly vehicles.
Plus…… you do not need to drive. You can nominate up to 2 drivers who may be friends or relatives. Parents or carers can apply on behalf of a child aged 3 years and upwards.
